QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q* What are the best ways to use your “passion” when dealing with clients?

A* In any deal it's about building trust and inspiring confidence. To be able to use your passion in a business deal and get a win-win situation it's necessary to understand what motivates your partners and clients so that they can be passionate as well. When I have a business proposal or tender or offer that I believe in and have passion for, it shows in my personal meeting with my client. That is what I call "being shining believe". It's about being confident and that helps to build mutual trust and respect. Win-win is always a win, especially in long-term business relationships. Showing that you believe in the future, is showing that you will be around as a stable business partner.

Q* What drives your “passion” for business?

A* The possibility to create my own future. I am looking 10 years ahead, as to where I want to be and what I want to do. I am setting goals from that and working towards it. This is really motivating and drives my passion. Down the road there are always tough challenges, but going through them successfully and looking back also drives my passion.

Q* Do you believe that your passion in business sometimes leads you to make mistakes?

A* Yes, I know from experience that passion in business can lead you wrong. I've done business being too optimistic and I've in some cases taken too big of risks. Really wanting an opportunity to work doesn't mean that it will work. I've learned from my mistakes and now I'm looking deeper into each opportunity before making a final decision. It's about making a stabile profit in the long run, not short term gain for potential long-term disaster. Knowing this principle, makes my passion more focused with more clear criteria's and sometimes saying no to new contracts and business deals. It is in risk management where it is essential not to get too passionate.

Q* When working on a business project, how does your "passion" work together with other business partners and co-workers?

A* As long as all others involved are sharing the same idea and vision, it's really powerful. Actually, it's a goal in my projects to engaged co-workers and clear objectives. Having a skilled team with high competence who share the same goals creates passion and actually, it can almost make you reach the stars. There are of course some drawbacks as well. Sometimes players have different agendas or they get "too" passionate in something that doesn't add value to the big picture. Then it's necessary to sit down and align with each other. Perhaps you just need some small adjustments or in some cases, you're not the right business partners for that tasks or deal.

Q* What areas of business are you most passionate about?

A* One area is the process of finding new clients and objects. Analyzing, calculating and identifying opportunities and the risks within. Another is to see former investments or a bit risky business to bear fruit. When it comes to marketing activities, it's finding new target groups and attracting them. From telecom sector, building high performance teams is a real favorite. It's very inspiring to see different people coming together, initiate the creative process and help out in reaching common goals.

THE PROPERTY-PRENEURS
An undeniable, universal truth is that we all need someplace to live. No matter at what age, we all seek to find a place to hang our hats, raise a family, have a holiday, or to retire. And, as long as this irrefutable truth exists, there will be “property-entrepreneurs” who will design your home, your community and your lifestyle, if given the chance.

THE GREEN-ENTREPRENEURS

The industrial revolution has peaked and now it is up to the “green-preneurs” to bring business back on track with sourcing, developing and marketing products and services that “help” Mother Nature instead of controlling her.
